Terms & Conditions

1. Claim Period

The guarantee is valid for claims submitted within 7 calendar days from the date of purchase

2. Like-for-Like Comparison

The comparison must involve the same design problem, input data, design assumptions, scope of work, and required deliverables in both SheetForge and the comparison software.

3. What Counts as Design Time

For the purpose of this guarantee, design time means the total time required to complete the specified design and produce the applicable final deliverables.

This may include:

  • Entering and preparing design inputs
  • Performing calculations
  • Design iterations and modifications
  • Generating required schedules and reports
  • Preparing drawings
  • Producing final design outputs

Time spent on activities that are unrelated to the design task will not be included in the comparison.

4. Complete Output Must Be Considered

The comparison must account for the complete and usable output required for the design.

Depending on the project, this may include:

  • Ready-made design calculations
  • Bill of Quantities (BOQ), where applicable
  • Design summary, where applicable
  • Bar Bending Schedule (BBS), where applicable
  • CAD drawings, where applicable
  • Guarantee of cost-efficient design, where applicable

A comparison will not be considered valid if required outputs are omitted, substantially incomplete, or require additional work that has not been accounted for.

5. Video Evidence

To submit a claim, the customer must provide clear and continuous video evidence of the comparison.

The video should demonstrate:

  • The design task being performed in both software solutions
  • The starting inputs and design requirements
  • The workflow followed in each software
  • The time taken to complete the design
  • The resulting outputs and deliverables

The recording should be sufficiently clear to allow SheetForge to verify that the comparison is genuine and reasonably like-for-like.

SheetForge may request the relevant project files or output files to validate the comparison.

6. Purchase amount

The purchase amount means the amount you paid while obtaining the license to use the software.

7. Fair Comparison

The comparison must be conducted under reasonably equivalent conditions.

The customer should use comparable levels of design expertise, the same or equivalent input information, and the same design requirements in both software solutions.

The comparison must not intentionally include unnecessary steps in one software or omit required steps in the other for the purpose of increasing or reducing the measured time.

8. Verification

Once a claim is submitted, SheetForge will review the video and supporting files to determine whether the comparison satisfies these Terms & Conditions.

The 50% time-saving calculation will be based on the verified total design time required to achieve equivalent, usable deliverables.

9. Refund

If the comparison is verified and SheetForge is shown to save less than 50% of the total design time compared with the comparison software, the customer will be eligible for a 100% refund of the purchase amount.

The refund will be processed using the applicable payment method and subject to the payment provider’s processing timelines.

10. Scope of the Guarantee

This guarantee applies to the specific design task demonstrated in the submitted comparison. It does not guarantee a 50% time saving for every possible project, design type, user, workflow, or software application.

SheetForge reserves the right to reject claims that do not meet the requirements of this guarantee or that do not provide sufficient evidence for a fair comparison.

Our goal is simple: if SheetForge doesn’t deliver the time savings we promise in a fair, like-for-like comparison, you get your money back.
